Real:Life student ministries is geared toward middle school and senior high students of Huntington County.   Our desire is to reach students with the love of Jesus Christ, to teach them the truth from His Word and equip them with a solid, real-life, and real-world faith.  It is our desire to see students sharing their faith with their peers through their life-style and conversation.

WHAT we do: 

We try to create an energetic, fun and welcoming atmosphere for students.  In the context of this community we deal openly and honestly about the issues of adolescence as we seek the truth from God’s Word.   We use games, technology and worship to create this environment.  We have a great adult ministry team that is committed to the teens.  We value relationship over programs.  So we try to make sure each teen has a personal connection to the group.

WHY we do it:

Adolescence is such a key time of development for young people.  As they navigate the waters of adolescence, we feel it’s important to walk with them and help them understand what God has to say about life as they try to make sense of these often times confusing yet fun years of development. 

HOW we do it:

  • Weekly Group Meetings -- Our Sunday night group meeting is the centerpiece to the ministry.  This is we create our group identity and deal with relevant topics.
  • Sunday morning Bible Study -- Geared toward spiritual growth, this is our prime time to teach God’s Word.   This is where students will learn the foundations of the faith.
  • Small Groups -- Our desire is to see every student connect through a small group that is led by a caring adult.  In these small groups teens build a trusting relationship with the adult and each other to talk about the issues of living for Christ in today’s world.
  • Special Events -- Throughout the year we try to program creative events that teens will want to be a part of with their friends.   Some of our annual events include, a Barn Party, Mystery Tour, and FESTIVUS, our all night outreach event.  Retreats/Summer Camps: Every fall, spring and summer we have some of the best one-day events around.  These have become great events for our youth as they invite their friends.
  • Mission Trips -- Serving others is a huge value we have here at cpyouth.  That is why our mission trips fill up each year.    We urge every student to take advantage to these wonderful life-stretching events that have great potential.
